About the foundation
IESE Stiftung Deutschland promotes research in business management and related disciplines, and provides help and financial support to both educational institutions and individuals.
In doing so, it seeks to advance training for executives and entrepreneurs able to solve the major challenges facing business and society in the 21st century. This should be achieved from a sustainable, ethical, and humanistic standpoint while at the same time promoting the values of equity and social inclusion.
It works closely with the IESE Business School, which since 2005 has been developing its training programs in Germany, with its own campus in Munich. For its part, IESE International Foundation has also played a key role in IESE Stiftung Deutschland’s inception, providing it with its own funds so it can enjoy full autonomy.
It carries out its work thanks to the generous help of businesses and institutions, as well as individuals; especially the nearly 3,000 IESE alumni in Germany and other German-speaking countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. It is these benefactors who, through their support, develop the different areas of work, always within the foundational objectives of IESE Stiftung Deutschland.

Endowment
The Endowment is permanent capital fund that seeks to give solidity and continuity over time to the activities of the Foundation. It allows to undertake future projects, in many cases of an innovative and long-term nature, by providing a stable source of income that can be devoted to strategic projects. The Endowment grows mainly through new donations.
The Endowment is managed so that future generations will have at least the same capacity for action as the present generation (intergenerational equity). To this end, part of the profit (interest, dividends, capital gains, etc.) is reinvested back into the fund itself, so that purchasing power is not lost due to the effects of inflation. Therefore the impact of a donation is permanent.
The IESE Endowment is committed to the principles of socially responsible investment, and seeks to invest in funds or initiatives that promote environmental care, social responsibility, and ethical governance practices.
